I used my Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Pink Fizz Eyeshadow Palette for the day and used it again for the swatches below. I ended up doing a side by side comparison for my cousin's wedding last weekend, and by the end of the day, there was absolutely no difference between the two primers, so that says something about the formula. I spent a while trying to figure out how I would be able to do a side by side comparison of them on my eyelids and also include a swatch of primer vs no primer on my eyelids. With my friend's help, I was able to get my hands on both of these babies, and I knew that a comparison post just had to be done. Wet n Wild kept to their word when they said they were going to absorb the Fergie primer into their regular catalogue, just with new packaging, as the Fergie Centerstage collection was limited edition and therefore discontinued earlier this year. The only thing that differentiates them two from each other is the packaging and the name. They are practically identical in every way - the ingredients, the texture, and the lasting power. Well, technically it's 'one product when you think about it. to essence, from Too Faced to Cover FX, and none of them have performed half as well as these two products. I've tried several cruelty-free primers in the past year, from e.l.f. It's what finding a brilliant eyeshadow primer does for me. All thanks to having greasy hooded eyelids. I kid you not, I've been collecting eyeshadows like there's no tomorrow, now that I'm able to wear them without the damn thing melting off within seconds. They are my holy grail primers, and without these, I would have never been able to begin my obsession for eyeshadow palettes. I put some swatches up on MUA.The day has finally come when I can confidently publish a post on the two primers by Wet n Wild Beauty and tell you with absolute honesty that these are the best primers that I have ever, ever, come across. It seems to be a common problem from what I've read. There is a packaging issue because 3 of the 5 tubes I picked up were already broken when I removed the plastic wrap. The powdery matte finish looks great, however they are not very pigmented, somewhat drying and do not last long on the lips. The blue color is gorgeous! I have several of the Velvet Matte Lip pencils and they were a disappointment. They're not really creamy and I did need to press a bit, but there was no smearing or fading. The new and improved Color Icon Kohl pencils really are new and improved! I never liked Wet n Wild's eyeliner pencils before but these went on smoothly and did not budge until I removed it at the end of the day. It covered completely and lasted all day. The Come Correct concealer rivals the It Bye-Bye under eye concealer IMO. I've tried a few of the new for 2015 products and overall I'm pleased. In the meantime, do you already own anything here? I'd love to hear from you! And as soon as I get an official list of discontinued products from Wet n Wild I'l post it here. I will be reviewing many of these new products in the weeks to come. I know that some of the new Wet n Wild products are already on the and Walgreens sites. The regular Wet n Wild products should eventually be available everywhere Wet n Wild is sold in your area (if you haven't already spotted these products locally). Once again, these are all new, permanent products (not limited edition) and only the Fergie products above are Walgreens-exclusives. Still the #1 selling nail polish in the market!.
